Is a New York Non-Resident Permit Valid in New Mexico?
No. New Mexico does not honor New York non-resident permits, and it has no permitless-carry option for visitors. Carrying a concealed handgun there on your New York State Pistol/Revolver License — concealed carry class (Penal Law 400.00(2)(f)) is a crime.
