Is a Rhode Island Resident Permit Valid in Ohio?
Yes on both counts: permit reciprocity and permitless carry. Ohio recognizes Rhode Island resident permits and separately allows eligible adults for adults 21+ to carry without one.

- A licensee or qualifying adult (21+) may carry a loaded concealed handgun in a motor vehicle; pre-2022 vehicle notification and handling restrictions were repealed by SB 215.
